Information Is Not a Project Contract
Website content and general project information do not establish a job-specific scope, price, schedule or warranty.
These Terms govern use of the Atlantic Custom Woodcraft LLC website and, where applicable, FinishCalc Pro.
The Atlantic website provides information about finish-carpentry services and FinishCalc Pro. FinishCalc Pro is a calculation and layout-support tool. Neither the website nor the app replaces a project-specific written agreement, professional judgment, field verification or requirements that apply to a particular job.
Project proposals, estimates, scopes, schedules, warranties and payment terms are established separately in writing when applicable.
Website content and general project information do not establish a job-specific scope, price, schedule or warranty.
The app supports layout calculations and documentation; the user remains responsible for checking field conditions and final dimensions.
Measurements, calculated layouts and reports should be reviewed against the actual project before material is cut or installed.
Nothing in these Terms removes consumer or statutory rights that applicable law does not allow a business to waive.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If FinishCalc Pro is made available to you under these Terms, your use of the application is also subject to the terms of the applicable distribution channel and any license terms presented with the application.
If you do not agree to the terms that apply to a service or application, do not use that service or application.
Content on this website is provided for general informational, product and marketing purposes. Atlantic aims to keep public information useful and accurate, but website content may be updated, corrected, expanded or removed as services, product features and business information change.
Website descriptions, examples and general information do not by themselves create a binding construction agreement, project scope, price, completion date, warranty or guarantee.
Submitting an estimate request, email, phone inquiry or other project information does not by itself create a contract for construction or finish-carpentry services.
Where Atlantic and a customer choose to proceed with work, job-specific terms such as scope, materials, exclusions, pricing, payment schedule, timing, change orders, warranties and other project requirements are established separately in the applicable written documents. If a signed project agreement conflicts with general information on this website, the signed project agreement controls for that project to the extent permitted by law.
Construction and home-improvement requirements vary by project type and jurisdiction. Where contractor registration, licensing, permit, advertising or disclosure requirements apply, those requirements operate independently of these Terms and must be satisfied as required by applicable law.
No statement on this website should be read as a representation that Atlantic holds a particular registration, license, insurance coverage or certification unless that credential is expressly identified as current. When applicable registration numbers are displayed on this website, they are provided for verification and advertising-compliance purposes.
Images identified as representative, illustrative or concept imagery are provided to communicate a type of finish, service or design direction. Such images are not represented as photographs of completed Atlantic projects unless the website specifically identifies them that way.
Project results vary with design, existing conditions, dimensions, materials, installation requirements and other job-specific factors.
FinishCalc Pro is designed to assist with common finish-carpentry layout calculations, organization and supported project-reporting workflows. It is a tool for planning and reference; it is not architectural, engineering, structural, code-compliance or legal advice.
The application does not inspect the jobsite and cannot account for every field condition, material characteristic, manufacturer requirement, structural condition, local code or design decision that may affect a project.
Subject to the terms that apply to the version and distribution channel you receive, Atlantic grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use FinishCalc Pro for its intended calculation, layout and reporting functions on devices you own or control.
This license does not transfer ownership of FinishCalc Pro, its source code, design, branding, calculations, documentation or other intellectual property. Rights not expressly granted are reserved by Atlantic and its licensors.
Apple App Store. If FinishCalc Pro is distributed through the Apple App Store and Atlantic does not provide a custom end-user license agreement for the applicable storefront, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the licensed application. These website Terms supplement, and do not replace, mandatory Apple App Store license terms.
Google Play. If FinishCalc Pro is distributed through Google Play, use of the application is also subject to the applicable Google Play terms and policies. These website Terms do not replace rights or obligations that apply through the distribution platform.
You are responsible for confirming the accuracy of measurements you enter and for reviewing calculated results against actual field conditions before relying on them for fabrication, cutting, installation, ordering or purchasing decisions.
Before work begins, verify dimensions, spacing, symmetry, edge conditions, material sizes, clearances, openings, substrate conditions and other relevant project information. Where a project requires architectural, engineering, structural, code or manufacturer approval, obtain the appropriate professional or authoritative guidance.
Supported FinishCalc Pro tools may allow you to create reports that include measurements, calculated results and project information you choose to enter. You are responsible for reviewing a report before using or sharing it.
You represent that you have the right to enter and share any project names, client names, notes, measurements, photographs or other content you choose to use with the application. Do not enter or share information that you are not authorized to use.
You may not use the website or FinishCalc Pro to violate applicable law, interfere with the service or another user's access, introduce malicious code, bypass security controls, falsely represent your affiliation with Atlantic, or use Atlantic or FinishCalc Pro branding in a misleading manner.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive source code from FinishCalc Pro except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law or an applicable open-source license expressly permits the activity.
The Atlantic Custom Woodcraft and FinishCalc Pro names, logos, branding, original website design, original written content, application interface, application code, documentation and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Atlantic Custom Woodcraft LLC, except where otherwise identified.
No permission is granted to present Atlantic's or FinishCalc Pro's protected materials as your own work or as the work of another business.
Apple, Google, device operating systems, email providers, file-sharing destinations and other third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Your use of those services is governed by the terms you have with the applicable third party.
If FinishCalc Pro is distributed through an app store, the store operator may manage downloading, installation, updates, billing or other platform functions independently of Atlantic.
Atlantic may update, improve, correct, replace or discontinue website content or FinishCalc Pro features. App availability may depend on device compatibility, operating-system versions, app-store requirements and distribution status.
Atlantic does not promise that every website feature, app function or third-party service will always be available without interruption or error.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and FinishCalc Pro are provided on an "as available" basis without warranties that are not expressly stated in a separate written agreement. Atlantic does not warrant that every calculation or output will be suitable for every project, material, field condition or professional requirement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atlantic will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of or inability to use the public website or FinishCalc Pro, including losses caused by unverified measurements, unreviewed calculations, third-party services or use of the application outside its intended purpose.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited. Separate project agreements may contain different terms for construction or finish-carpentry services, and those project-specific terms control where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, restrict or exclude rights, remedies, warranties, disclosures or protections that applicable law does not permit a business to waive, restrict or exclude. If a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory requirement controls to the extent of that conflict.
Atlantic may restrict or terminate access to website or application functionality where reasonably necessary to protect the service, address misuse, comply with law or enforce applicable terms. A user's application-license rights may also end if the user materially violates the terms governing that license.
Information handling related to the Atlantic website and FinishCalc Pro is described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms.
For a construction or finish-carpentry project, a signed project-specific agreement controls over conflicting general website content to the extent permitted by law. For FinishCalc Pro, mandatory terms imposed by the applicable app-store distribution channel control where they conflict with these website Terms.
If a provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions are intended to remain effective to the extent permitted by law. Atlantic's decision not to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.
Atlantic may update these Terms as the website, FinishCalc Pro, distribution methods or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when these Terms are revised.
If an app-store release is subject to a separate end-user license agreement or store-specific terms, those terms will apply as described in the applicable distribution channel.
